About US
Our founder Ryan Stoangi has always loved two things: vehicles and being an entrepreneur. He set up his first makeshift shop out back of his parent’s garden centre while he was still in high school. He opened the inaugural Off Road Addiction shop on Clarke Road in London in 2004, sleeping on the office floor, cooking on a second-hand grille and pouring every last resource, every last drop of effort into making it a success. Ryan’s commitment to customers led new car dealers to trust Off Road Addiction to build modified vehicles for them, starting in 2005. In 2012, Ryan was able to move to our St. Thomas location – a 10,000 square foot retail store and 4 bay shop with room to grow and space to host large events.

Building it right is just as important as building the right thing. Over the years and thousands of builds, we have developed systems and procedures that ensure your vehicle is being built right the first time, every time. Every customer who has a build done with us gets a package outlining the warranty information, ongoing maintenance plan, our team’s internal safety & installation checklists and more. We build every vehicle with the care and attention to detail we would if it were our own.
We don’t just talk about our commitment to quality, safety and professionalism. We’re fully insured and fully licensed by the Province of Ontario as a Motor Vehicle Inspection Station. We are also an OMVIC licensed car dealership. Being an enthusiast is good – being a professional is better.
Our History
- 2004 – Off Road Addiction gets its start on Clarke Road in London
- 2007 – We hold our first Open House
- 2008 – The 1000th vehicle build is completed
- 2009 – Off Road Addiction introduces it’s Dealer Partnership Program for new car dealers in Ontario
- 2011 – The 3000th vehicle build is completed
- 2012 – 20th dealer joins the Dealer Partnership Program
- 2014 – We move to a new home – a 10,000 square foot retail store and shop in St. Thomas
- 2015 – The 5000th vehicle build is completed
- 2016 – First Jeep 101 event held in Minden
- 2019 – The 10,000th vehicle build is completed
